I would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas; be assured I will bring all your intentions to Our Lady and Baby Jesus at my apparition on Christmas Day.

I appreciate very much the efforts been made by the Medjugorje Council of Ireland to help our work through Marys Hands, and all those of you who have already donated and those who will.

Our work here is varied. We help every individual, every family, every community( Mother's Village, Cenacolo, Mother Krispina and Orphanage run by Sister Kornelia all in Medjugorje,then free meal center of food kitchen* in Mostar, for poor people no matter what nationality they are, and at the moment also the hospital in Mostar due to the present situation with Covid 19) that need help. As you know there have been very few pilgrims in Medjugorje this year and most of the help we get is from the pilgrims. There is much unemployment in this country and people whom we help would have worked hard if they had the opportunity to do so. It is not easy for them to have to depend on charity to feed their families. I’m sure they would rather be in the position to be giving rather than have to be receiving.

We also pay the rent for a lot of our elderly in nursing homes and for many people with various disabilities.

We pay for medicine for many people who are sick and also provide essential house repairs for people who are living in very poor circumstances. We have a great team of people who bring help to so many people and offer their time so generously for every type of job that presents itself.

We ask you to help us, if you can, to keep doing this work of care for the many people who come to us every day. These people will probably never be able to repay you for your kindness but you can be sure that God will reward you generously for whatever you do for them.

As we draw near to Christmas, it is a lovely opportunity to give a gift to Jesus by making a donation to some of his brothers and sisters on His behalf. We become Gods providence when we answer the prayer of others; we become God’s hands on earth; we sow love by answering our Lady’s call; we help to make the world a better place for ourselves and those whom we help.

Please God you will all be able to come back to Medjugorje next year and enjoy the peace of Medjugorje and the hospitality and care of the people who live and work here.
